No Wrong Door
The goal of No Wrong Door is to provide an easy to remember number for older adults and people with disabilities to access long term services and supports (LTSS) in order to support a long and healthy life while remaining at home. NC 2-1-1 has partnered with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services to provide the “No Wrong Door” portal. When dialing 2-1-1, callers are connected to a live, trained, and compassionate call specialist who can help navigate the often complicated health and human services system. 2-1-1 will provide local program and service options for individuals and families facing the challenges of living at home while allowing for barriers to service to be identified.
FamilyWize is a national program aimed at providing much-needed cost savings on prescription medications. NC 2-1-1 partners with FamilyWize to provide callers with discount prescription cards that can be used at thousands of pharmacies throughout North Carolina. The cards can be used by uninsured as well as insured individuals to shop for the best value for needed medications. To download a card, click here.
